Abstract From the Canadian patent

The invention described includes a process of making co-ground calcium carbonate that , includes ground and precipitated calcium carbonate (GCC and PCC). The process includes , providing an aqueous suspension of GCC co-grinding the GCC suspension with a suspension of PCC, optionally screening and up concentrating optionally , drying, and , conducting the co-grinding with ceria-containing zirconium oxides beads having certain size , and ceria content properties to provide advantageous production of the coground material.
