Abstract From the Canadian patent

An apparatus, system and method are provided for generating an acoustic signal. One embodiment of the apparatus includes a signal source a piezoelectric transducer to generate the acoustic signal that is to modulate along a mandrel and a section to couple the signal source to the piezoelectric transducer. The piezoelectric transducer may include a bottom end having one or more electrical tabs. The section may have one or more springs wherein the one or more springs are aligned with the one or more electrical tabs and wherein the section and the piezoelectric transducer are not physically attached together.
