Abstract From the Canadian patent

A drill including a support frame and planter row units separated in first second and third groups. A central member supports the first group and is attached to the support frame in a transverse manner so that the units of the first group are in contact with the ground in an operational position. First and second outer member respectively support the second and third groups of the planter row units and are attached respectively to a first and second end of the central member through a lift system moving each outer member between first second and third positions.
