The invention is directed to isomeric mixtures of cyclosporin analogues that are structurally similar to cyclosporin A. The mixtures possess enhanced efficacy and reduced toxicity over the individual isomers and over naturally occurring and other presently known cyclosporins and cyclosporin derivatives. Embodiments of the present invention are directed toward cis and trans-isomers of cyclosporin A analogs referred to as ISA TX247 and derivatives thereof. Mixtures of ISA TX247 isomers exhibit a combination of enhanced potency and reduced toxicity over the naturally occurring and presently known cyclosporins. ISA TX247 isomers and alkylated arylated, and deuterated derivatives are synthesized …

Why it's free to use
- Filed October 17, 2002 and granted February 4, 2014. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended October 17, 2022.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 17, 2024.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
