A herbicidal composition comprising: (A) . 2-2-chloro-3-(2,2,2--trifluoroethoxymethyl)-4methylsulfonylbenzoylcyclohexane-1,3-dione or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof; and (B) nicosulfuron wherein , the weight, ratio of (A):(B) is from 2000:1 to 1:2000. The activity of the composition is superior to , that of the herbicides applied individually.
