Abstract From the Canadian patent

An electrophysiology apparatus (8) is used to measure electrical activity occurring in a heart (10) of a patient (11) and to visualize the electrical activity and/or information related to the electrical activity. A three dimensional map of the electrical activity and/or the information related to the electrical activity is created. Colors shades of colors, and/or , grayscales are assigned to values of the parameters and colors corresponding to the parameters for the electrograms sampled by the electrodes (e.g. 12 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22) are updated on the three dimensional model (62).

Why it's free to use

  • Filed September 12, 2006 and granted June 7, 2016. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended September 12, 2026.
  • Certificates of supplementary protection extend only drug patents, and it isn't classified as one.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
