Novel bifuntional reagents useful in providing extended in vivo lifetimes of physiologically active agents are provided. The reagents comprise conjugates of a first binding member specific for a target in a mammalian host, such as a toxin, drug of abuse, microbe autoreactive immune cell, infected or tumourous cell antigen presenting cell, or the like, joined to a second binding member specific for along-lived blood component including cells, such as an erythrocyte platelet or endothelial cell, and , plasma proteins. Why it's free to use
- Filed September 16, 1994. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended September 16, 2014.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by September 16, 2016.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
