Abstract From the Canadian patent

The invention relates to an ozone generator comprising two electrodes (3, 5) , and a dielectric layer (15) arranged between the above such that between the dielectric layer (15) and one of the , electrodes (5) an ozonising gap (13) is formed through which an oxygen-, containing gas can be run. In the direction of flow of the gas a dielectric capacity (CD) of the , dielectric layer (15) of the gas becomes smaller and/or layer thickness of the dielectric layer (15) becomes greater, such , that a gap width of the ozonising gap (13) is greater on the inlet side than the outlet side.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed May 22, 2006 and granted July 10, 2012. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended May 22, 2026.
  • Certificates of supplementary protection extend only drug patents, and it isn't classified as one.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
