A light fixture (100) including a flexible diffusion material (310) coupled to a scrolling mechanism (110) capable of positioning a selected portion of the diffusion material in a light beam (112) from a light source (102). Different portions (O-T) of the diffusion material (310) provide differing amounts of diffusion. The scrolling mechanism (110) may be remotely operated to produce a desired amount of diffusion in the light beam. The light fixture (100) may also include one or more additional scrolling mechanisms (106 108) coupled to , flexible color filter material (306 308), such that the light beam (112) may be filtered to a desired color.
