Abstract From the Canadian patent

An inline measuring device comprises a vibratory-type transducer electrically coupled with electronics. The vibratory-type transducer includes at least, one measuring tube for conducting a flowing mixture an exciter arrangement , for, actively driving a first natural eigenmode of the measuring tube and a sensor, arrangement for delivering an oscillation measurement signal representing oscillations of the measuring tube. The electronics produce measured values for, representing a physical, measured quantity of the mixture by estimating from an, excitation current and from said oscillation measurement signal a Coriolis coupling, coefficient corresponding with a coupling between said first …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed May 4, 2006 and granted February 5, 2013. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended May 4, 2026.
  • Certificates of supplementary protection extend only drug patents, and it isn't classified as one.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
