Prerecorded DVD menu alteration and ad insertion. Additional material such as , commercials, previews, and computer files can be inserted into a presentation that has been saved on a storage device. The presentation can originate from a store bought DVD. The additional information (640) can be inserted at any point during the presentation of a professionally made DVD and can be used to alter and add new information to the menu. The additional material inserted into the presentations can be tailored to fit each individual user.
