Abstract From the Canadian patent

The present invention relates to novel active compound combinations comprising, as active , compounds, firstly an active compound from the group of the neonicotinoids clothianidin, imidacloprid, thiacloprid dinotefuran, acetamiprid, nitenpyram and thiamethoxam and, secondly, at least one active compound selected from the group of the strobilurin fungicides picoxystrobin, pyraclostrobin dimoxystrobin, metominostrobin and orysastrobin to their use , as pesticides and as , seed dressings for the treatment of seed to methods for controlling pests and , for protecting seed and to seed treated with the active compound combinations according to the invention.
