Abstract From the Canadian patent

The present invention relates a use of the electrocapture-based separation technology combined with mass spectrometry (e.g. sequence of polypeptides by collision-induce dissociation mass spectrometry for the identification and/or , characterization molecules of interest). In addition it relates physical , interfaces between electrocapture-based separations and different types mass spectrometers for on-line analysis, as well as the coupling of electrocapturebased separations, liquid chromatography and different types of mass spectrometrometers. It also relates the combination of the electrocapture-base separation technology with other liquid separation methods as e.g. liquid , …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed December 6, 2005 and granted May 23, 2017. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended December 6, 2025.
  • Certificates of supplementary protection extend only drug patents, and it isn't classified as one.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
