According to the invention, the elevators (8) and/or the adjustable horizontal stabiliser (6) are operated in such a way that a negative lift (DP2) is generated and a nose-up moment (CDP) is thus created to counter the nose-down moment (CB) resulting from braking. The value of the negative lift (DP2) matches the vertical force exerted by the ground on the front landing gear (12) which force is subject to a reference value (Fav3).

Why it's free to use
- Filed October 18, 2005 and granted May 29, 2012. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended October 18, 2025.
- Certificates of supplementary protection extend only drug patents, and it isn't classified as one.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
