The present invention provides a solid oxide fuel cell system (1) which , comprises a central support means (2) afixture means (4), a current , collection means (5) a manifold (6), and at least one fuel cell means (3) wherein the fuel cell means (3) and the current collection means (5) are moveable in the direction parallel to the axis of the fuel cell means (3).
