The present invention relates to the use of at least one heterocyclic compound of the , formula (I), (see formula I), in which R is H or C1-C3-alkyl as a frictional wear-reducing additive in fuel compositions; to corresponding additized , fuel compositions and their preparation; and to additive concentrates which comprise , such compounds.
