Abstract From the Canadian patent

The invention relates to a device for holding a sanitary article to be disposed of, particularly a women's' tampon comprising a receptacle (1) made , of a recyclable material. A holding space (3) for holding the hygiene article to be disposed of, and a supply space (4) which is separate from the holding , space (3) and which holds wrappings for accommodating the sanitary article to be disposed of, are formed in said receptacle. A closeable insertion opening (6), through which the sanitary article can be inserted into the holding space (3), and a removal opening, through which the wrappings can be removed are , formed in a wall (9) of the container (1).
