Abstract From the Canadian patent

The invention relates to a method for producing a container which is made of a plastic material and comprises the edge clamping of a flat and flexible part (5) forming a curved surface on the internal face of a hollow body (1). The inventive method consists in bringing the edge of the part (5) into contact with the internal face of the hollow body in applying a pushing or tensile force on the part in a direction perpendicular to the surface thereof in such a way that radial forces are induced into the part thereby bringing the edge of the part (5) together with the internal face of the hollow body.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed April 18, 2005 and granted August 7, 2012. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended April 18, 2025.
  • Certificates of supplementary protection extend only drug patents, and it isn't classified as one.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
