A portable bag bolder with an adjustable frame is provided which includes a handle that has a first end and a second end. An adjustable frame is secured to the first end , of the handle. The frame is an elongate member with opposed ends that is formed into a hoop , shape with the opposed ends positioned in overlapping relation and defining an opening. A , tensioning means is provided on the frame for adjusting the circumference of the opening by , maintaining the opposed ends in a selected position relative to each other. A collar lies , transversely on the frame to prevent flex in the frame.
