A method of making polyolefin with a target melt flow index and melt flow rate is disclosed. The method polymerizes one or more olefinic monomers in a single reactor containing a bicomponent catalyst system. The catalyst system includes a first catalyst component and a second catalyst component each characterized by a catalyst productivity and a chain-transfer-agent response. The single reactor has a chain-transfer-agent concentration and a temperature. The productivity of the second catalyst component is substantially different temperature dependent than that of the first catalyst component. The chaintransfer-agent response of the second catalyst component is substantially …

Why it's free to use
- Filed April 5, 2005 and granted May 28, 2013. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended April 5, 2025.
- Certificates of supplementary protection extend only drug patents, and it isn't classified as one.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
