Abstract From the Canadian patent

The rotation locking device for a retaining ring (20) on a rotor disk (10) includes: a first (162 262) and a second (164, 264) successive locking hooks for the disk (10) at least one cleat (302, 304, 306) of the said retaining ring (20) positioned close to a slit (24) on the ring (20). The position of the said at least one cleat (302 304, 306) on the said retaining ring (20) is such that when the said retaining ring (20) is in place in a groove (22) located on the rotor disk (10) the said at least one cleat (302, 304, 306) is butted up against the said first locking hook (162 262) and the slit (24) is covered by the said second locking hook (164 264).
