Abstract From the Canadian patent

This turbine engine compressor features a separation nozzle (10) extended by inner (12a) and outer (12b) annular dividers cooperatively defining an annular separation volume (V) of a primary flow (F1) and a secondary flow (F2). This volume (V) features a multitude of annular segments forming dividers (20) separated in pairs by the blades (15) of a first fan these blades crossing both the primary flow (F1) and the secondary flow (F2). These dividers (20) are affixed to an upstream annular ferrule (30) and a downstream annular ferrule (40) driven in rotation by the pre-cited blades (15).

Why it's free to use

  • Filed August 21, 2006 and granted July 23, 2013. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended August 21, 2026.
  • Certificates of supplementary protection extend only drug patents, and it isn't classified as one.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
