According to the invention, a volume wave acoustic hybrid resonant structure (10) simultaneously overcomes the difficulties encountered at high frequency the impossibility of working at low frequency on simple structures and the absence of an adequate level of coupling. The invention uses an additional layer (22) of material which covers the upper electrode (20) of a piezoelectric transducer (14) so as to locate the maximum intensity position of the dynamic constraint by propagation effect in the vicinity of the center of the piezoelectric layer (18). According to the invention the structure (10) may be associated to Bragg mirrors and various uses are presented.

Why it's free to use
- Filed July 28, 2006 and granted July 8, 2014. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended July 28, 2026.
- Certificates of supplementary protection extend only drug patents, and it isn't classified as one.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
