Abstract From the Canadian patent

Process for controlling the profile of the coupling between the cylindrical part and the clearance of a roller for turbine bearings. The surface profile is delimited geometrically by a first zone corresponding to the clearance of the roller a second zone corresponding to the coupling between the cylindrical part and the clearance and a third zone corresponding to the cylindrical part of the roller. The process consists in carrying out (100) a measurement of the surface profile of the roller based on a calculation (200) of the first derivative of the measured profile calculating (300) straight line sections for each of the geometrical zones of the roller modeling the first derivative of the …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed June 27, 2006 and granted December 4, 2012. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended June 27, 2026.
  • Certificates of supplementary protection extend only drug patents, and it isn't classified as one.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
