A device for arresting of leakage through the bore of circular pipes and in particular, to a device and method for emergency leakage arresting in circular pipes and the like. The device is adapted to provide for a quick remedy to arrest leakage in pipelines including reactor coolant channels and the like and would be simple and requiring minimum of manual intervention.
