The invention relates to a composite material which is produced by mixing with water 100 parts by weight of a binder, from 250 to 800 parts by weight of a steel-based shot whose granulometric distribution ranges from 120 µm to 3000µm, from 10 to 15 parts by weight of a non-compressed silicon vapour and a super-plasticiser highly water reducing agent. The ratio of water quantity by weight and the quantity by weight of the hydraulic binder ranges from 0.16 to 0.25. The inventive composite material exhibits a high abrasion resistance index (I) which is measured according to a C.N.R. protocol and ranges from 0.15 to 1.0, the grain D10 size value of the shot is at least by eight times …

Why it's free to use
- Filed September 14, 2004 and granted May 8, 2012. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended September 14, 2024.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by September 14, 2026.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
