The invention relates to a voice recognition method comprising a representation stage of a vocabulary translated into a Markhov model; a decoding stage by a Viterbi algorithm and a pruning stage for solutions explored. The invention is characterized in that the vocabulary is described in the form of a tree consisting of arcs and nodes between which phonetic units used by the application language model are defined and in that the Markhov network required for the Viterbi decoding is at least partially constructed in a dynamic manner by means of Markhovian sub-units. The invention also relates to a voice recognition system used to carry out the above-mentioned method.

Why it's free to use
- Filed July 8, 2004 and granted May 6, 2014. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended July 8, 2024.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 8, 2026.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
