Method for determining the specular source/receptor pairs associated to seismic images produced based on a transformation of multi-offset recordings of seismic waves relative to time in the field of depth. When the depth migration algorithm is implemented before Kirchhoff summation the trajectory times required for the radii to get from the sources and the receptors of the acquisition device to the image points of the image to migrate are calculated and retained the parameters of the spokes of these radii are also calculated and retained as well as the quantities to which access is ultimately desired. Then once the migrated volume before summation is produced the slopes of local seismic …

Why it's free to use
- Filed December 2, 2005 and granted August 19, 2014. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended December 2, 2025.
- Certificates of supplementary protection extend only drug patents, and it isn't classified as one.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
