The liquid multi-component working stream is heated by a first external heat source stream at a first heat exchanger and is subsequently divided into a first substream and a second substream. The first substream is heated by the first working stream at a second external heat source stream at a second heat exchanger. The second substream is heated by the second working stream at a third heat exchanger. The first substream …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed May 10, 2004 and granted March 13, 2012. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended May 10, 2024.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 10, 2026.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
