Abstract From the Canadian patent

For the compression stage of a compressor including several stages of compression 5 (28) including: mobile (14) and fixed (26) wheels outer (8) and inner (4) casings delimiting a vein (10) having an outer (34) and an inner (36) vein the process includes an operation where air is suctioned into the inner vein from where it is sent to a fixed blade on the said fixed wheel and an operation where the air from the said fixed blade is bled then discharged outside the compressor. The arrangement of the compressor for implementing the process includes the means to suction (42 44) and the means to bleed (48, 50).
