Abstract From the Canadian patent

Portable gas distribution equipment, including a gas cylinder with height of less than 50 cm a valve or gas pressure-reducing valve mounted on the cylinder mechanical protection means arranged around the cylinder and the said valve or gas pressure-reducing valve characterised in that the said protective means include at least one rigid outer protective shell made from at least two sub-parts including fastening means to solidly secure the said sub-parts to one another. One or more additional protective elements are arranged between the half-shells and the valve or gas pressure-reducing valve to improve the protection of the valve.
