A two-tower scheme process for the recovery of propane and heavier components from a hydrocarbon gas stream is provided. Feed gas (12) is cooled (14) partially condensed, and then separated (24) to give a first liquid stream (22) and a first vapor stream (26). First liquid stream is sent to a distillation tower (28) that recovers at the bottoms a major portion of propane and heavier components (54) and produces an overhead gas stream (42). Why it's free to use

  • Filed December 19, 2003 and granted February 14, 2012. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended December 19, 2023.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by December 19, 2025.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
