The invention concerns a method for expressing RNAi in cells comprising: (i) introducing in cells a nucleic acid molecule including the RNAi sense and antisense sequences placed under the control of a single transcription promoter said sense and antisense sequences being separated by a DNA sequence including a sequence for arrest of said transcription said DNA sequence being framed at each of its ends by a lox site (ii) contacting the lox sites with Cre to obtain by site-specific recombination elimination of the DNA sequence and of the transcription arrest sequence such that said sense and antisense sequences are no longer separated by the remaining lox sequence thus enabling the …

Why it's free to use
- Filed November 21, 2003. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended November 21, 2023.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 21, 2025.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
