Said method is characterized in that it comprises the following steps: a) contacting said solid substrate with a formulation containing: 1) at least one monomer including a biocidal group; 2) at least one compound copolymerizable with said biocidal monomer including a monodi-or polyfunctional monomer or oligomer selected among acrylate epoxide or vinylether monomers or oligomers; 3) at least one photoinitiator selected among free radical and/or cationic photoinitiators; and 4) at least on …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed November 4, 2003 and granted November 27, 2012. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended November 4, 2023.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 4, 2025.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
