A noise reduction assembly located at the level of a junction plane (A) between an air intake structure and a fan casing (20) of an aircraft turbojet engine presents improved acoustic properties by the fact that the alternation between acoustic and non-acoustic zones is moved or eliminated. Specifically the inside wall (32) of the air intake structure includes a protruding part (32') which extends towards the rear beyond the junction plane (A), namely of the flange (22) of the fan casing (20). The length of the protruding part (32') may be enough so that its inner skin (36) is continuous right to the limit (B) between the acoustic and non-acoustic zones of the nacelle.

Why it's free to use
- Filed April 25, 2005 and granted February 5, 2013. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended April 25, 2025.
- Certificates of supplementary protection extend only drug patents, and it isn't classified as one.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
