Abstract From the Canadian patent

A seat suspension has a base (12) with a foundation extending upwardly at a forward portion. A pair of panels (22, 24) is hingedly mounted to the foundation with a spring (36, 38) between each panel and the base. The panels are hinged to the foundation by a living hinge (16).
