Abstract From the Canadian patent

The invention relates to a receiving device (1) comprising a receptacle (2) for a receiving vessel, particularly a blood sample extraction tube. Said receptacle (2) encloses a receiving chamber (7) along with a receptacle wall (6) and is provided with a proximal end (9) and a distal end (10) that are located at a distance from each other in the direction of a longitudinal axis (8).
