Abstract From the Canadian patent

The invention is related to a geminally disubstituted olefin-carbon monoxideethylene polymer. The invention is also related to a method for preparing geminally disubstituted olefin-carbon monoxide-ethylene polymers by reacting a geminally disubstituted olefin feed, a carbon monoxide feed and an ethylene feed under free radical polymerization conditions. The invention is further related to a geminally disubstituted olefin-carbon monoxide-ethylene-X polymer, where monomer X is a free radical polymerizable monomer. The invention is also directed to a method for preparing geminally disubstituted olefin-carbon monoxide-ethylene-X polymers by reacting a geminally disubstituted olefin …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed July 18, 2003. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended July 18, 2023.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 18, 2025.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
