Abstract From the Canadian patent

This invention relates to a support (11 12) bracket (14) for a rotating motor, such as a gas turbine comprising a rotating shaft (15) supported by at least one bracket (14) and one fixture (10) and able to run according to at least two different operating regimes characterized by the fact that it comprises at least two mechanical structures (11 12) carrying different stiffeners combined to support the bracket (14) according to one or other of these stiffeners. The invention has the advantage by using mechanical structures, of avoiding the presence of any hydraulic equipment the stiffening forces thus introduced being able to directly oppose the excitation forces generated by the imbalance …
