The invention relates to a method of producing translucent decorative panels and the panels thus produced. The inventive method comprises the following steps consisting in: pouring a first layer of a highly-transparent synthetic resin on the base of a mould with a specular finish and anti-adhesive characteristics in order to mould the panel; arranging the individual decorative patterns on the upper face of the previously-poured resin layer; disposing a laminar material in the form of a thin translucent layer thereon said laminar material extending over the entire upper face of the transparent resin layer; and, finally, pouring the remainder of the integral resin layer of the panel.

Why it's free to use
- Filed June 27, 2003. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended June 27, 2023.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 27, 2025.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
