Abstract From the Canadian patent

Equipment at a lift cage for temporarily coupling a cage door leaf with a shaft door leaf and for actuating a cage door locking means comprises a coupling mechanism which is arranged at the cage door leaf (5) with two entraining runners (15.1, 15.2) mounted on two pivotable adjusting elements (17.1 17.2). The spacing between the entraining runners can be adjusted by pivotation of the adjusting elements between an uncoupling setting and a coupling setting wherein the entraining runners in coupling setting cooperate with at least one coupling element (18) mounted at the shaft door leaf.
