The subject of the invention is a crimping device for fastening means (1 2) such as a screw head (1) or tightening nut (2) especially for the connection of an electrical terminal (3) on a contact tab (4) including a plate (5, 6) positioned between the said fastening means (1 2) and the terminal (3) equipped with at least one ratchet element (7) fixed in rotation in relation to the contact tab (4) when tightened by the fastening means (1 2) and including a toothed element (8) integrated into the fastening means (1 2) working in conjunction with the said ratchet element (7) once it is tightened to prevent the fastening means (1, 2) from becoming loose.
