Abstract From the Canadian patent

A fuel cell-use electrode support substrate comprising a ceramic sheet having a porosity of 20-50%, a thickness of 0.2-3 mm and a+ surface area of at least 50 cm2, wherein a coefficient of variation of a measured air passage volume in a region measured by a JIS K 6400-compliant method falls within 5-20% or, in , addition, a surface roughness at a maximum roughness depth (Rmax) measured by a laser optical three-dimensional shape measuring device is 1.0-40 µm whereby the support substrate is homogenous and small in fluctuation of gas permeability, and can perform an anode electrode printing with a very close contact.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed May 21, 2003. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 21, 2023.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 21, 2025.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
