Detection of cells with molecular marker compartmentalization associated with malignancy and/or disease including a cancer by obtaining a cell sample and suspending cells (1) in a solution (100). The cells are fixed (102). A molecular marker is labeled with tagged molecular probes (103). A cell (1) is illuminated with a point source of light (104) and different projection , images are obtained with a digital array detector (105). The projection images are compensated for variations in illumination (106) and analyzed to detect a , labeled molecular marker having densitometric and location features (107). The location of the molecular marker is analyzed (108) and compartmentalization , …

Why it's free to use
- Filed May 3, 2003 and granted January 29, 2013. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended May 3, 2023.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 3, 2025.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
