In the branch joint having a closing valve (23) and a fixing member (40) slidably mounted to a main body (10) of the branch joint (1) a female quick joint element (1) is formed through an opening (41) for mounting a part (116) of a male joint element (101). On a wall of the opening (41) means (42, 43) for assisting a means (115) provided for the male element (101) are provided and the male element in two compositions mounted on the female element (1) is held and these compositions mutually positions at one side in parallel to a mounting direction (X-X') of the elements (1 101).
