Abstract From the Canadian patent

The present invention comprises detection devices (DZM1 to DZM4 DZAP, DZLG), disposed in the zones (ZM1 to ZM4 ZAP and ZLG) to be monitored and able to emit detection signals on two different channels as well as means (FDU) for processing said signals. These processing means (FDU) comprise first (C1A C3A) and second (C2B, C4B) computers respectively connected to one or the other of said channels and electrically isolating links (3) connecting said first and second computers. -An advantageous application of the invention relates to the detection of fire in unpressurized zones of aircraft.
