Abstract From the Canadian patent

A guide cart for a tool such as a parting-off grinder or similar device has a frame (4) on which are positioned at least three wheels (5 6). In order to achieve the easy adjustment of the cutting depth of a tool positioned on the guide cart at least one wheel (6) is fixed by a first strut (10) and by a second strut (11) to the frame (4) of the guide cart (1). In this arrangement the first strut (10) is mounted on the frame (4) in such a manner that it is able to rotate and at least two mounting points (12 13) spaced a certain distance apart are provided for mounting the second strut (11).

Why it's free to use

  • Filed March 17, 2004 and granted July 17, 2012. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended March 17, 2024.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 17, 2026.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
