Abstract From the Canadian patent

According to the invention, in case of detection of induced vibrations: an additional electric control command ( Z Y) is computed, which, applied to the servocontrol of at least one control surface allows the latter to oppose said induced vibrations; the electric flight control command (dZ dY) relating to said control surface and said additional electric control command ( Z Y) are summed to obtain an overall control command for said control surface; and said servocontrol is temporarily slaved to said overall control command allowing the operation of said servocontrol in a widened frequency band.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed March 12, 2004 and granted August 7, 2012. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended March 12, 2024.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 12, 2026.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
