A framing Speedsquare Attachment is disclosed. Also disclosed is an attachment that includes a segment for slidingly attaching a conventional Speedsquare thereto. The attachment further includes a telescoping extension having a measuring scale on its top surface. Interconnecting the first segment to the telescoping portion is a U-shaped segment that is configured to permit a conventional saw blade to pass through without cutting the attachment. The attachment may also include an anti-jam mechanism to prevent a stop member from pinching a board to be cut.
