A method, system, GUI, API, computer readable media and data structures for , simplifying managing a complex system of enterprise components is provided. The computer executable methodology includes correlating and determining root causes of enterprise events. Enterprise component management is therefore simplified by automatically distinguishing symptomatic events from root cause events, which facilitates taking appropriate maintenance actions in a timely fashion.
